After a major roll over during a race in 2017, Carbon Developments were awarded the contract for the rebuild.

The boat was gutted and a new canopy was designed and built complete with fully integrated roll cage to provide its occupants new levels of safety and performance.

Additionally, a new custom ergonomic interior was fabricated to meet the specific requirements of the driver and throttle man.

Prior to the start of the 2017 Sydney to Hobart yacht race, Carbon Developments removed the bowsprit and made extensive modifications to add an additional tack fitting and reattached the bowsprit in time for the race.

Assisting Core Builders in the Modification and Construction of F50’s
